  • David Ryan Polgar

    Founder at All Tech is Human

    David Ryan Polgar is a pioneering tech ethicist, Responsible Tech advocate, and expert on ways to improve social media and our information ecosystem. David is the founder of All Tech Is Human, an organization committed to building the Responsible Tech pipeline by making it more diverse, multidisciplinary, and aligned with the public interest. In March 2020, David became a member of TikTok’s Content Advisory Council, providing expertise around the delicate and difficult challenges facing social media platforms to expand expression while limiting harm. An international speaker with rare insight into building a better tech future. His commentary has appeared on CBS This Morning, TODAY show, BBC World News, Fast Company, The Guardian, SiriusXM, Associated Press, LA Times, USA Today, and many others. David is a monthly expert contributor to Built In (writing about the Responsible Tech movement), an advisor & contributor for Techworker.com, and an advisory board member for the Technology and Adolescent Mental Wellness (TAM) program.

  • Saara Hyvönen

    Saara is one of the three Founders of DAIN Studios, a Finnish-German company providing consultancy on Data & AI from strategy to implementation. The company combines a team of highly experienced experts in the field of AI, Data, Data Science and Privacy. Since 2016 DAIN has worked with 50+ companies from more than 15 industries, defining data strategies, building predictive models and AI solutions and embedding data into business processes. Saara´s main focus is to help companies in the area of data and AI strategy development, identifying optimal data use cases and defining related requirements on data, architecture and compliance. Her work in AI ethics has ranged from helping define principles of AI ethics for companies to translating these into concrete actions for developers and finding novel ways of creating transparency using explainable AI. Saara has a PhD in mathematics and extensive experience in the application of data science in both academic and business environments. She was listed among the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics 2021.

    Chris McClean Global Lead, Digital Ethics Chris is responsible for driving digital ethics fluency and process change across Avanade’s worldwide employee base. He also leads Avanade’s digital ethics advisory practice, which guides clients along their own digital ethics journey with capabilities ranging from training and workshops to project assessments and program design. Prior to Avanade, Chris was a Research Director at Forrester Research, and he earned his Master’s in Business Ethics and Compliance in 2010.
